Glenn is certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and has been elected as a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  Glenn is the past chair of the 8,000-member Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Since 2005 his analysis of new legislation has appeared in O'Connor's Texas Probate Code Plus and Texas Estates Code Plus. He has written on legal topics and spoken extensively at advanced legal education courses for attorneys on estate planning, probate and trust topics.  Topics include modifying and terminating trusts, problems with multi-party bank and brokerage accounts, drafting estate planning documents which protect the surviving spouse, disclaimers, and understanding and implementing the Uniform Prudent Investor Act and the Uniform Principal and Income Act. He is the owner and sponsor of The Texas Probate Web Site (texasprobate.com) and the Texas Probate email mailing list for attorneys. He also serves as mediator of estate and trust disputes and as an expert witness on estate, probate and trust issues.

Glenn is past president of the Board of Trustees of the Austin Waldorf School, where his four children were educated.  He is the former chair of the Austin Bar Association's Estate Planning and Probate Section and he has served on the boards of the Estate Planning Council of Central Texas and the local chapter of the National Committee on Planned Giving.  He and his wife, Suzanne, are members of First United Methodist Church of Austin.
